Alexander Holt is a policy analyst with the Education Policy Program at New America where he conducts research on the economics of higher education with a specific focus on the federal student loan program. His writing has appeared in national media outlets such as The Washington Post and The Nation. Before New America, Alexander lived in Amman, Jordan where he greatly enjoyed traveling across the desert by camel. Then he went to Antarctica. He graduated from The George Washington University with a B.A. in political communication.
